Rob Jones is a singer-songwriter from Manchester, England

He left this job as a secondary school English teacher in 2021 in order to dedicate his life to making music.

Alongside his band, The Restless Dream, he channels Tom Petty, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen and more into a soft-rock, west-coast sound that sets the scene for his poetic lyrics about love, life and the search for meaning.

Following the success of last years' four-track EP 'Trees', Rob is excited to begin 2024 by releasing three standalone singles.

The first, January Man, tells the story of a lonely, drunken New Year's Eve in Copenhagen, in which the speaker comes to realise that he will always belong to the love he thought he had left behind.

Trees is an EP of four original songs that represent an evolution in Rob's writing and the sound of the band.

Produced by Mark Lewis, of The Northern Cowboys, and featuring the talents of the core band plus some special guests (Chris Hillman on pedal-steel, Grace Kelly on backing vocals, Alan Keary on strings), the tunes combine a west-coast country sound with lyrical poetry and moments of sublime musicianship.
